Palm Spring Golf Courses

Hey fellow golfers, let me first start off by saying that I'm saying for the time it has taken me to post this blog. I have been very busy at work. I recently had to go to a class on the Glock guns and found it very interesting. Enough of my police gear talk! This is a golf equipment and golf course site!

So two weeks ago, I took the family down to Palm Springs for a little R&R! It was so much fun. We absolutely love it down there. We stayed at the JW Marriot in Desert Hot Springs. The JW Marriott has two golf courses, Palm and Valley. Both of the courses are very nice for being resort courses. They are forgiving, yet challenging. When we played them they were in good shape considering it was the summer time. What was even nicer is that during twilight, juniors get to golf for free! Can't beat that. Definitely check out the JW Marriot that next time you are in Palm Springs and want to hit your Callaway X22 irons in the sun!

We also played a round at Desert Willow. As we have profiled before here, Desert Willow is a great golf course. It was in excellent condition and is always a challenge. During the summer the prices weren't too bad. I paid $40 at 1 pm and my son was only charged $20 because he is a junior. I think the morning fees are still only around $50 or $60 so still not to bad.

Anyways, till next time....hit em straight and long! Oh yeah, I am cause I got a new shaft in my Callaway FT-IQ driver!

NJ Golf Courses

Best Golf Equipment Reviews is going to try something a little different in today’s golf courses review. Instead of profiling a city like San Diego Golf Courses, we are going to talk about NJ golf courses, or New Jersey golf courses. Best Golf Equipment Reviews wants to mix it up a little and give you a broader database.

Crystal Springs Golf Resort

There are seven golf courses at the Crystal Springs Golf Resort. All of them offer some of the best golf in New Jersey. Those seven golf courses are the Ballyowen, Black Bear, Cascades, Crystal Springs, Great Gorge, Minerals Family Golf, and Wild Turkey.

Ballyowen

105-137 Wheatsworth Road
Hamburg, NJ 07419
973-827-5996

Ballyowen is the number 1 public golf course in New Jersey. There are five holes that have water on them so make sure bring your favorite Callaway golf balls!

Black Bear

138 State Route 23
Franklin, NJ
973-209-2521

This NJ golf course is the closet golf course to New York. It is a great place to host tournaments or participate in a golf school. What better of a place to bring out your new TaylorMade R9 driver and learn how to hit it!

Cascades

3 Wild Turkey Way
Hamburg, NJ
973-827-5996

The Cascades golf course is the newest golf course within the Crystal Springs area. Since it is only 9 holes you can definitely bring one of your Ping golf bags and walk it!

Crystal Springs

1 Wild Turkey Way
Hamburg, NJ 07419
973-827-1444

Crystal Springs is quite possible one of the toughest NJ golf courses. It has been rated by Golf Digest as the top 50 most challenging golf courses.

Great Gorge

McAfee, NJ
973-827-7603

Mineral Family Golf

This is rated by the locals as one of the best 9 hole golf courses in New Jersey. While you might not need your Callaway FT-iQ drivers, you will definitely need to be accurate with your Callaway X22 irons!

Wild Turkey

Wild Turkey has been called by some as a uniquely designed golf course, but also named one of NJ's Top New Public Courses! Bring your best golf clubs cause you are going to need them!
